When you are moving to a new home or a new office, what is the first thing you think of? Probably heavy brown boxes, rushed days in front of the moving truck, and paying an arm and a leg to have your things brought over to your new location. Essentially, you picture the exhausting, work intensive method that you have always had to use. It probably never crosses your mind that it could be a lot easier than all that.
And for what reason? Probably because you have never used moving pods. It is actually a little surprising to think of the amount of people who do not even know that moving pods exist. Because while they are a somewhat new product on the market, moving pods make moving so much simpler and less stressful it would not be surprising to hear people write poems about it. Seriously.
But what, exactly, are moving pods? Simply put, they sort of like the offspring of a UHaul style moving truck and a self storage unit... and with the best of both worlds thrown in. Though revolutionary in practice, they are simple in concept: moving pods are portable self storage units that can go just about anywhere. And even though moving pods do work well for self storage (among other things), the place where you will really see the convenience of using them is when you move. Because using them really does simplify the whole process.
Put it this way: when you arrange to use moving pods instead of contracting a rental truck and driving it to your new home, you are helping yourself to a way less stressful move. How? By freeing you of all the stressful "rush rush rush" and scary "I am not used to a truck this size" driving of moving day. With moving pods, a portable storage pod is delivered to your home or office, where you can keep it as long as you need. Do you have a lot of possessions to move and want to take several months to get them slowly packed up? Well, that is how moving pods work.
When all your things are packed up and placed in the storage unit (or units), you just make a phone call to have it all taken away. Then, when you are ready for your things (whether it be an hour later or an entire season), the company will deliver your moving pods to your new location. You can bring your things inside and unpack them as you need them, totally at leisure. When everything is unloaded and the moving pods are empty, just call to have them taken away. Just like that, the job is done.
The truth is, the only way to move your home or office with less hassle than with moving pods is to hire a moving company to do everything for you... including packing and unloading. But for most of us, doing that would probably break the bank. Full service moving companies cost a fortune! But when you use moving pods, you pretty much get the best of everything: you protect your bank account and save yourself a load of hassle.
